Clare Therese is a UK-based freelance surface pattern designer creating unique, contemporary patterns, designs and illustrations for home furnishing, publishing, cards, stationery and homeware.
Clare's work always starts with hand-drawn & painted motifs, reworked into digital designs with Adobe Photoshop. She loves to experiment with different media and techniques, from lino & mono printing to pen & ink, gouache, pencil and watercolour. Primarily she draws inspiration from nature, but loves to surround herself with vintage fabric, painting, botanical prints and is an avid pinterester!
Her portfolio is full of complex, intricate hand-drawn patterns, surface pattern repeats & bespoke illustrative motifs. Her background is a degree in Fine Art and a Postgraduate Diploma in Drawing, so she likes to push boundaries and create imaginative, playful and innovative designs.
Clare Therese is developing a growing range of patterns & drawings and would love to hear from you if you are interested purchasing designs or commissions. If you'd like to discuss working together please get in touch.
